We manage and partner on key Citi initiatives and deliverables, such as our quarterly earnings process and ensuring Citi’s compliance with financial rules and regulations. The team comprises chief financial officers who partner with each of our businesses and disciplines including controllers, financial planning and analysis, strategy, investor relations, tax and treasury. We’re currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our team as **FP&A - Database Developer, Assistant Vice President** based in Mumbai, India. We are seeking a Senior Oracle Developer with strong technical depth in SQL/PLSQL and proven experience performing as Business Analyst in client-facing environments. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in **Oracle SQL and PL/SQL**, along with working knowledge of **Oracle Cloud**, **Python scripting**, **ETL processes**, **Big Data technologies**, and **Data Warehousing**. **Knowledge of SAS (Statistical Analysis System)** is a plus and will be beneficial in working with analytics and reporting teams. This role also demands **excellent communication skills** to interact with **data stakeholders** and translate business needs into effective technical solutions. **Key Responsibilities:** ***Oracle Development*** - Design, develop, and optimize Oracle database solutions using SQL and PL/SQL. - Implement and manage applications on **Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)**. - Write Python scripts for data automation, transformation, and validation. - Apply Big Data principles to support large-scale data processing needs. - Design and maintain robust **ETL workflows and data pipelines**. - Build and support **Data Warehouse** solutions ensuring performance and reliability. - Collaborate with technical and business teams, especially **data stakeholders**, to understand and fulfill data requirements. - Leverage **SAS knowledge** (if applicable) to support data analysis and reporting initiatives. ***Business Analysis & Client Interaction*** - Act as a bridge between business users and technical teams. - Directly interact with clients/stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements. - Prepare Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), Technical Design Documents (TDD), and data mappings. - Translate business needs into clear technical solutions and guide development teams. - Participate in client calls, requirement walkthroughs, and solution discussions. **Required Skills:** - Strong proficiency in **Oracle SQL and PL/SQL**. - Experience with **Oracle Cloud services**. - Solid knowledge of **Python programming**. - Understanding of **Big Data technologies** (e.g., Hadoop, Spark). - Experience with **ETL tools and processes** - Familiarity with **Data Warehouse design and optimization**. - **Excellent communication and interpersonal skills** to collaborate across teams. - **7+ years of progressive experience** in software development, **Strong hands-on experience** with enterprise-level Java development, including Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud) and related ecosystems; and **Deep understanding and hands-on experience** with data architecture principles, including relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Oracle), NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra), data warehousing, and big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Kafka). - **Proven hands-on experience** with Python for data manipulation, scripting, machine learning, and backend development. - **Demonstrable hands-on experience** with Generative AI concepts, frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch), and practical application of large language models (LLMs), natural language processing (NLP), and machine learning (ML) models. - Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), including understanding of cloud-native services and serverless architectures. - Proficiency in designing and implementing microservices architectures, RESTful APIs, and event-driven systems. - Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes). - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automated testing frameworks. - Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Bachelor’s/Masters degree in **Computer Science**, **Information Technology**, or a related field.
