**Company Description** Apollo Hospitals, Navi Mumbai, is a 400-bed multi-specialty tertiary care hospital located in CBD Belapur, established as one of the most advanced healthcare facilities in Maharashtra, established in 2016 as a state-of-the-art multi-specialty tertiary care facility. Situated close to the junction of the Mumbai–Uran (JNPT) and Mumbai–Pune highways, it is equipped with 13 advanced operation theatres and 120 modern ICU beds, including NICU and PICU units staffed round the clock by critical care specialists. The hospital holds accreditations from the Joint Commission International (JCI) and offers integrated super-specialty care across all disciplines. It draws a significant volume of patients, with 1000+ daily OPD visits and an average of 1000 international patient consultations monthly, supported by a dedicated International Patient Services team that assists with medical visas, travel arrangements, accommodation, and language interpretation for patients coming from abroad for treatment. **Role Description** This full-time, on-site French Medical Interpreter & Operations Executive role is based in Navi Mumbai. The role involves providing accurate French–English medical interpretation for patients and clinical staff during consultations, procedures, and care discussions, ensuring clear, culturally sensitive communication. The professional will translate medical documents, reports, consent forms, and patient information materials while maintaining strict confidentiality and adherence to hospital policies. Daily responsibilities also include supporting operational activities such as appointment coordination, patient flow management, documentation, and liaison with internal departments to enhance service quality. The role requires collaboration with medical teams, administrative staff, and international patient services to ensure an efficient, patient-centered experience. **Qualifications** 1. Proven experience in medical interpretation within clinical or hospital settings, including consultations, patient rounds, and emergency situations. 2. Strong command of medical terminology across specialties to ensure precise, safe communication between patients and clinicians. 3. Skilled in simultaneous and consecutive interpretation, along with written translation of medical reports, discharge summaries, and consent forms. 4. Fluent in French and English, with strong listening comprehension and clear spoken delivery in both languages. 5. Prior exposure to a hospital, clinic, or healthcare administration environment, giving familiarity with clinical workflows and patient care protocols. 6. Solid organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage scheduling, documentation, and follow-ups across multiple cases. 7. Comfortable working on-site in Navi Mumbai and collaborating with doctors, nurses, and administrative staff as part of a multidisciplinary team. 8. A degree in languages, translation studies, or healthcare, ideally supplemented by certification in medical interpretation. 9. Sound judgment and discretion in handling confidential patient information and sensitive medical conversations.
