Job description

**Key Responsibilities** **1. System Architecture Design** - Understand fuel system architecture (tank, pump, filters, rails, injectors, sensors, lines). - Support DFMEA/PFMEA, boundary diagrams, and P-diagrams. **2. Integration Validation** - Support integration of fuel system components into engine/vehicle platforms. - Support Coordination with calibration, hardware, and controls teams to ensure robust operation across all duty cycles. - Support in Development of integration test plans, validation matrices, and verification procedures. - Analyse results from component, subsystem, and vehicle testing to drive issue resolution. **3. CrossFunctional Collaboration** - Work closely with Calibration, Controls, Mechanical Design, Electronics, and Program Management teams. - Support leadership in design reviews and cross-functional issue resolution forums. - Collaborate with suppliers for component selection, qualification, and release. **4. Issue Resolution Troubleshooting** - Support rootcause analysis for fuel system issues - Utilize diagnostic tools and data analysis to recommend corrective actions. - Support warranty/field return investigations. **5. Compliance Safety** - Ensure system compliance with emissions standards (BSIII/BSIV/BSVI, EPA, Euro). - Support Functional Safety (ISO 26262) assessments related to fuel system controls and components. **6. Documentation Reporting** - Document and communicate the findings with technical and non-technical audience. **Required Qualifications** - Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical/Automotive/Electrical Engineering. - 5-12 years experience in fuel system development, engine systems engineering, or related domains. - Strong understanding of IC engines, injection systems, fuel pumps, tank systems, filters, and emissions requirements. - Experience with validation tools (INCA, CANalyzer, Vector tools, test benches). - Knowledge of DFMEA, DVPR, CAD/CAE basics. **Preferred Skills** - Expertise in highpressure common rail systems or GDI/portfuel injection. - Experience with ECU software integration or calibration. - Familiarity with functional safety (ISO 26262) and OBD diagnostic strategies. - Knowledge of supplier management and release processes. - Strong communication and working with cross-functional teams.
