Job description

**Role & responsibilities** - Design, build, and deliver end-to-end features across React/Angular frontends and Java/Node.js microservices, integrated with REST APIs and Kafka-based event streams. - Own prompt structuring, validation, and refinement for AI-generated code ensuring correctness, security compliance, and adherence to Citizens' engineering standards. - Leverage AI coding agents (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) by authoring customisations agents, skills, hooks, MCP servers, and plugins — to accelerate development without sacrificing quality. - Build multi-agent AI applications using Agent SDKs to orchestrate workflows where agents collaborate or hand off tasks to each other. - Implement and champion test-driven development (TDD) across unit, integration, and contract testing layers using Jasmine/Jest/Karma. - Contribute to and improve CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) and cloud-native deployments on AWS/Azure using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS/EKS). - Maintain observability standards — structured logging (ELK/Datadog), alerting (Prometheus/Grafana/AppDynamics), and performance profiling. - Collaborate with product, design, and architecture teams to translate business goals into scalable, compliant technical solutions. - Manage parallel workstreams and evolving requirements, ensuring incremental and continuous value delivery through agile practices. **CORE SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS** **Frontend** - React / Angular (micro-frontend architecture with single-spa / Module Federation) - TypeScript, HTML5, CSS - Unit testing: Jasmine, Karma, Jest **Backend & Integration** - .NET — primary backend services - RESTful APIs & microservices architecture - Kafka / IBM MQ for messaging and event streaming - Python for scripting and automation **Cloud & DevOps** - AWS / Azure (hybrid cloud) - Docker & Kubernetes (AKS/EKS) for containerisation - CI/CD pipelines: Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions - API Gateway: Apigee / Kong / Azure API Management **Data & Persistence** - Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL — transactional systems - NoSQL: MongoDB, Cassandra - Analytics platforms: Snowflake / Hadoop / Databricks **Security & Quality** - OAuth2, OpenID Connect - Identity platforms: Azure AD, Okta - Code quality & security: Nexus IQ, Fortify, SonarQube - TDD, code review, debugging best practices **Monitoring & Observability** - Logging: ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), Datadog - Monitoring: Prometheus, Grafana, AppDynamics, Dynatrace - Version control: Git (GitHub / Bitbucket) Note: Apply only if you are available in Bangalore or ready to relocate .
