**Job Description** **Job Title: Software Engineer** **The Purpose of the role** Fidelity's Workplace Investing Reporting and Analytics chapter is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to play a key role in enhancing client experience for PSW reporting application by delivering new functionality on newer technology stack. This person will be have a strong technical background and knowledge and be an addition to a pool of software engineers , collaborate across the teams and work with technical partners, and testers as needed. The role demands significant collaboration with members of various business and IT groups throughout the lifecycle of a typical project. Our engineering team is innovative, diverse, hardworking, and self-driven. We work in a very dynamic agile environment. **The Expertise You Have** - Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / similar technical subject area and or equivalent experience - 3+ years of experience in Java - Experience in delivering DaaS (Data as a Service) via Java Microservices using SpringBoot, Apache Tomcat - Experience with integrating front-end UI with back-end services & API’s, transaction management, error handling. - Experience integration with REST clients, messaging systems. - Extensive experience in delivering AWS services primarily RDS and Dynamo DB - Experience in Snowflake, Apache Airflow highly preferred - Experience with DevOps, CI/CD Pipelines, GIT, Maven, Jenkins, EKS / AKS - Experience in API Gateway and any monitoring tools. - Experience in OBIEE/Power BI - Experience with Snowflake-specific features, such as Snowflake data sharing, Snowpipe, or Snowflake Streams. **Nice to have** - Experience in Data engineering, Data Modeling and Data analysis - Experience is Pl-SQL and Informatica ETL - Experience in AI/ML and Generative AI solutions **The Skills You Bring** - Strong collaboration skills - Excellent communication skills required - Strong problem resolution skills required - Critical thinking and the ability to work in an agile environment - Strong experience in navigating organizational structure - Strong experience in removing team’s blocker **The Value You Deliver** - Accountable for consistent delivery of functional software – sprint to sprint, release to release - Perfection in software development practices and procedures - Participates in application-level architecture – able to drive the solution - Develop original and creative technical solutions to ongoing development efforts - Responsible for QA readiness of software work you are doing (end-to-end tests, unit tests, automation)Responsible for supporting implementation of initiatives - Works on sophisticated assignments and often multiple phases of a project **How Your Work Impacts The Organization** WS (Workplace Solutions) helps our customers save and invest through workplace retirement savings plans, build lifetime relationships with customers and provide employers with cost-effective, integrated employee benefit solutions.
