**Job Title-** Sr Software Engineer – Application Development **Solution Line-** D&ACore Engineering **Position type-** Full Time **Work Location-** Bengaluru **Working style-** InOffice / Hybrid **Role Overview** We are seeking a highly skilled **Application Developer** with strong expertise in **full-stack development** and a focus on **Azure cloud technologies**. This role involves designing, building, and maintaining scalable web applications and APIs, driving innovation through modern architectures, and mentoring team members. Experience with **containers** and **AI services** is a strong plus. **Key Responsibilities** **Full-Stack Development:** Use **TypeScript**, **React**, and modern UI frameworks to develop and support Web Applications or Single Page Applications (SPAs). Develop robust **APIs** and backend services using **C#/.NET / Python/ Node** for application-specific and enterprise-wide use. Strong experience with both **relational** (SQL Server) and **NoSQL databases** (Cosmos DB, MongoDB), including design, optimization, and integration in cloud-based applications. **Cloud & Architecture:** Design and implement solutions leveraging **Microsoft Azure**, including **App Services**, **Functions**, and **Serverless architectures**. Experience with containers (Docker/Kubernetes) and **Azure AI services** is useful for AI features and integration. **DevOps & Automation:** Develop and maintain **CI/CD pipelines as code** using Azure DevOps or similar tools. Promote development standards through automation, code reviews, and release management. **Collaboration & Leadership:** Work closely with **Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and Business Analysts** to translate vision and requirements into technical solutions. Mentor and guide developers, fostering knowledge sharing and best practices. Proficient in Agile and Scrum methodologies, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews. **Quality & Support:** Ensure high-quality deliverables through testing, documentation, and adherence to functional/non-functional requirements. Provide **Level 3 support** for application incidents, including triaging, bug fixes, and patching. **What Makes This Role Unique** As a **Application Developer**, you will influence the technical direction of projects, introduce innovative tools and practices, and help shape the future of client-facing analytics applications. Your ideas will directly impact revenue-generating solutions and allow you to grow as a technical leader. **Skills & Experience Required** **4+ years** of experience in software development with strong **C# / Python/ Node** and **JavaScript (React preferred)** skills. Proven experience in **Azure Cloud Services**, **Databases**, **Serverless architectures**, and **DevOps practices**. Familiarity with **containers (Docker/Kubernetes)** and **AI/ML services** is a plus. Strong understanding of **Agile methodologies** and experience working in high-pressure environments. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to lead and mentor teams. **BS/MS in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience**. UI/UX experience is an advantage. **Nice-to-Have** Expertise in Terraform and Azure DevOps pipelines.
