**Job Title -** GCC Advisory Manager **Management Level:** 07 – Manager **Location:** Gurgaon, Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata **Must have skills:** GCC / GBS Strategy, Functional Operating Model Design, Shared Services Design, Sourcing & Location Strategy, Business Case Formulation, Functional Transformation such as Finance Process Transformation (O2C / P2P / R2R / FP&A) **Good to have skills:** Multi-function GBS, Transition & Migration Management, Service Management & SLA Design, Agentic AI in functions, Data Visualization Tools **Job Summary:** - **Manage defined workstreams** within GBS / GCC and operating model transformation engagements, taking responsibility for structuring the approach, shaping the analysis, and delivering high-quality outputs within agreed timelines - **Own and lead projects** – guiding team, reviewing outputs, and ensuring coherence across deliverables at the workstream level - **Manage client presentations, workshop materials, and proposal sections** independently, contributing actively to client discussions and working sessions - **Develop business cases, cost analyses, value realization frameworks**, and supporting models for GBS / SSC setup and transformation assignments - **Apply a process and operating-model perspective** across GBS design, governance, KPI and maturity frameworks, and emerging areas such as Gen AI–enabled processes - **Lead business development efforts** through research, pitch preparation, and proposal development - **Excel as a long-term trusted advisor** and partner by providing thought leadership and profound knowledge of market trends **Roles & Responsibilities:** - **GBS / GCC Strategy and Setup**: Lead analysis of operating model options (centralized, federated, hybrid) and build-operate setup models, location and sourcing strategy, GBS guiding principles, and process taxonomy (L0–L5) design for new and scaling shared services - **Operating Model Design:** Design integrated operating models for GBS / GCC setups, including organizational structure options, service delivery models, and transition, knowledge-transfer, and stabilization planning considerations independently - **Operating Model**: Manage the design, documentation, and continuous improvement of the Operating Model by analyzing processes, roles, governance, and performance metrics to enable efficient service delivery - **Cost Analysis and Value Realization**: Lead analysis and detailed cost model development covering setup costs, run-rate costs, and total cost of ownership for GBS and transformation scenarios; build value realization frameworks that track benefit and savings delivery against investment over time, incorporating productivity, quality, and strategic value levers - **Org Design and Sizing:** Design organization structures for the GBS / SSC and retained teams – roles, spans and layers, reporting lines, and FTE sizing methodologies - **SSC Location Strategy:** Lead location assessment and selection studies across cost, talent availability, risk, and scalability dimensions to recommend best-fit delivery locations for shared services - **KPI and Performance Frameworks:** Design KPI and SLA frameworks for GBS performance management, covering operational, financial, service, and experience metrics; develop dashboards and reporting cadences aligned to governance structures - **Capability Maturity Assessment:** Conduct structured maturity assessments across functions and processes against leading-practice benchmarks; translate findings into prioritized improvement roadmaps with clear ownership and timelines - **Governance, RACI and Interaction Model Design:** Design governance frameworks (councils, decision rights, escalation paths), RACI matrices, and interaction models defining roles and collaboration patterns between the GBS, retained organization, business units, and third-party providers - **Operating Model Design:** Design integrated operating models for GBS / GCC setups, including organizational structure options, service delivery models, and transition, knowledge-transfer, and stabilization planning considerations - **Gen AI in Functions:** Contribute to assessments and recommendations on Gen AI and intelligent automation use cases across functional processes – such as AP invoice processing, reconciliations, close acceleration, and management reporting **Professional & Technical Skills:** - **7-10 years of total experience in GBS consulting, operating model, functional transformation, or** advisory, or in-house shared services; experience at a top-tier or Big 4 firm preferred - Experience leading workstreams in **GBS / GCC design, functional operating model, or shared services engagements** - Working knowledge of at least 2–3 of the following: GBS / GCC / SSC setup, operating model design, sourcing & location strategy, org design & sizing, process maturity assessment, governance & interaction model design - Ability to **build and interpret cost models, TCO analyses, and value realization frameworks** and GBS transformation contexts - Experience designing **KPI and SLA frameworks and performance measurement structures**; ability to translate strategic objectives into measurable operational metrics - Familiarity with **maturity assessment approaches** – capability, process, or operating-model maturity – and ability to develop actionable improvement roadmaps from findings - Familiarity with **core functional processes** and process taxonomy frameworks such as the L0–L5 process hierarchy - Understanding of **ERP and digital technologies** (e.g. SAP S/4HANA, Oracle) and automation tools such as RPA and process mining - **Awareness of Gen AI adoption in one or more functions** including intelligent automation use cases and their implications for GBS process and workforce design - **Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint**;
