P **osition: GCP Data Engineer/Developer** Exp **erience: 5 to 12 years** L **ocation: Trivandrum** **JOB DESCRIPTIO** N **Role:** **GCP Data Engineer/Developer** **Job Title GCP Data Engineer/Developer** **Position:** Developer – Google Cloud Platform (GCP) **About the Role** We are seeking an experienced **Developer with strong Google Cloud Platform (GCP) expertise** to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in designing, developing, and deploying scalable cloud-based applications and solutions. This role requires hands-on experience in Python programming, GCP services, and cloud-native best practices. **Key Responsibilities** - Design, develop, and deploy applications using **Python** on **GCP environments** . - Work with **GCP services** such as Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Storage, GKE, and Cloud Composer. - Develop RESTful APIs, automation scripts, and microservices for scalable applications. - Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like Cloud Build, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions. - Optimize application performance, scalability, and security on GCP. - Collaborate with data engineers, cloud architects, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end solutions. - Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing cloud applications. - Ensure adherence to best practices for coding, security, and cloud resource utilization. **Required Skills & Qualifications** - **5–12 years of professional experience** in software development with strong expertise in **Python** . - Hands-on experience with **Google Cloud Platform (GCP)** services. - Strong understanding of **cloud-native development, serverless computing, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes/GKE)** . - Experience with **data processing frameworks** (Dataflow, Apache Beam, or Spark) is a plus. - Proficiency in working with **BigQuery** and **Cloud Storage** . - Experience building and integrating **REST APIs** and working with message queues like **Pub/Sub** . - Strong knowledge of **SQL/NoSQL databases** . - Familiarity with **CI/CD pipelines** and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Deployment Manager). - Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills. **Nice to Have** - Knowledge of **machine learning pipelines** in GCP (AI Platform, Vertex AI). - Exposure to **multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments** . - Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies. **Education** - Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. **Also please refer below link for downloading application form.
