GCP Migration Engineer

**Role & responsibilities** - Strong hands-on experience with **Google Cloud Platform (GCP)**. - Expertise in: - **Google Compute Engine** - **VPC Networking** - **VMware Migration** - **Hyper-V Migration** - **Database Migration Service (DMS)** - **Terraform** - **Storage Transfer Service (STS)** - **Identity and Access Management (IAM)** - **Linux Administration** - **Bash/Shell Scripting** - **Migration Planning & Execution** - Experience designing and implementing hybrid cloud and cloud migration solutions. - Strong understanding of networking concepts including routing, DNS, VPN, and firewalls. - Knowledge of migration methodologies, risk assessment, and cutover planning. - Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation frameworks. **Preferred candidate profile** - Google Cloud certifications such as: - Associate Cloud Engineer - Professional Cloud Architect - Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer - Experience with enterprise infrastructure modernization projects. - Knowledge of disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity planning. - Familiarity with cloud security best practices and governance frameworks.
