General Manager – Design (Simple JD) Location: Hyderabad Experience: 12–18 years **Role Summary** The General Manager – Design will be responsible for leading the design function for a region/business unit, ensuring delivery of high-quality residential interior projects while driving team productivity, customer satisfaction, and revenue performance. The role requires strong leadership over Design Managers, Design Leads, and Interior Designers, along with the ability to collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Execution teams to achieve business goals. **Key Responsibilities** - Lead and manage Design Managers, Design Leads, and Interior Designers. - Ensure quality and accuracy of all design deliverables. - Drive sales conversion through customer design consultations. - Oversee end-to-end delivery of residential interior projects. - Monitor project timelines, BOQs, and execution readiness. - Coordinate with sales, execution, procurement, and vendor teams. - Resolve critical customer escalations. - Track team productivity, project delivery, and customer satisfaction. - Hire, train, and develop design team members. **What are we looking for:** - Degree / Diploma in Interior Design or Architecture. - 12–18 years of residential interior design experience. - Minimum 5 years in a team management role. - Experience handling turnkey / full-home residential projects. - Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, costing, and project coordination. - Good client handling, presentation, and sales closure skills. - Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
