**Role & responsibilities** The General Manager - Fund Accounting will oversee a range of products including Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, and NAV, ensuring compliance with SLA, custodian & accounting standards. The role requires a strong background in Fund Accounting, NAV Calculations, Hedge Funds, and Private Equity, with a focus on managing teams responsible for these functions. Proven experience in managing a team of at least 80-120 professionals. **Preferred candidate profile** - Manage and lead a team of Fund Accountants responsible for NAV calculations, reconciliations, and reporting for a diverse range of investment products, including Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, and Hedge Funds. - Ensure accurate and timely calculation of Net Asset Values (NAVs) for assigned funds, adhering to established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. - Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, investor reports, and other fund-related documentation, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Portfolio Managers, Traders, and Operations, to resolve complex accounting issues and ensure smooth fund operations. - Develop and implement process improvements, automation initiatives, and best practices to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy. - Manage and mentor team members, providing guidance, training, and development opportunities to foster a high-performing and knowledgeable team. - Liaise with external auditors, regulators, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards. - Participate in ad-hoc projects and initiatives as required, contributing expertise and leadership to support the organization's goals. - Experience in implementing automation solutions, such as Robotic Process Automation (RPA), to streamline fund accounting processes. - Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies and their potential applications in fund accounting operations. - Relevant postgraduate qualification - 12-15 years of experience in Fund Accounting and NAV Calculations - Strong leadership and team management skills - Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities - Experience with automation technologies like RPA - Knowledge of AI technologies and their applications **\\*interested candidate share CV on abolis1@hexaware.com\\***
