**Job Title: Genetic Counsellor Rare Diseases** **Locations: Mumbai, Delhi, Lucknow, Cochin, Chennai, Kolkata** **Job Summary:** We are looking for dedicated and empathetic Genetic Counsellors specializing in rare diseases to support patients and caregivers across multiple locations. The role involves providing expert guidance on rare genetic disorders, facilitating early diagnosis, supporting treatment pathways, and improving patient outcomes through education and counselling. **Key Responsibilities:** \\* Provide specialized genetic counselling to patients and families affected by rare diseases. \\* Educate patients about disease condition, inheritance patterns, prognosis, and available treatment/management options. \\* Interpret and communicate genetic test results in a clear and compassionate manner. \\* Support early diagnosis and patient identification in coordination with healthcare professionals. \\* Work closely with physicians, specialists, and patient support programs to ensure holistic care. \\* Guide patients through diagnostic journeys, including genetic testing and referrals. \\* Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and caregivers dealing with chronic and rare conditions. \\* Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality and compliance with regulatory standards. \\* Participate in patient awareness initiatives, support groups, and educational programs. \\* Stay updated with advancements in rare diseases, therapies, and genetic research. **Qualifications & Requirements:** \\* Masters degree in Genetic Counselling / Medical Genetics / Life Sciences or related field. \\* Certification in Genetic Counselling (preferred). \\* 14 years of experience in genetic counselling, preferably in rare diseases or specialty care. \\* Willingness to travel within assigned regions.
