**Role & responsibilities** Role: GIS Data Analyst Required Technical Skill Set: Spatial Data Editing, Transformation and Analysis • ArcGIS Pro • GeoProcessing Tools/Tasks • Knowledge of Various GIS Data formats (FGDB, Shapefiles, CSV etc) • Esri GeoDatabase (PostgreSQL) • Spatial Queries on PostgreSQL • Hands on Experience on UNM Data Model • Python Development with strong ArcPy. - Arcade skills for automation, data cleanup, and validation • Experience in spatial data transformation, ETL processes, and data migration tools like FME, ArcGIS Data Interoperability • Skills on executing Spatial Analysis and experience with ToolBox Tools of ArcGIS Pro • Good grasp of SQL, spatial queries, and relational database concepts Desired Experience Range: 2 to 8 Yrs. Location of Requirement: Hyderabad / Chennai **Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)** **Must-Have\\*\\*** **(Ideally should not be more than 3-5)** - 2 to 8 yearsof hands-on GIS experience with at least 1 year in Data Transformation/Migration projects. - Experience working with ArcGIS Pro, GeoProcessing Tasks and Esri Geodatabases. - Experience in spatial data transformation, ETL processes, and data migrationtools like FME, ArcGIS Data Interoperability, or Python. - Skills on executing Spatial Analysis and good experience in the usage of ToolBox Tools of ArcGIS Pro. - Good grasp of SQL, spatial queries, and relational database concepts (ProgreSQL+PostGIS,). - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. **Good-to-Have** - Hands on experience in Utility Network Model - Knowledge on Telecom Domain - ArcGIS Enterprise - Good Verbal and Written Communication Skills - GIS Application Testing **Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role** - Collect, Clean, Process and maintain spatial and attribute data from multiple sources. - Prepare, analyze, and maintain geospatial data for telecom networks including fiber, copper, coax, and wireless infrastructure. - Configure and maintain datasets in ArcGIS Utility Network(UN) model aligned with telecom business requirements. - Assist in the migration of legacy datafrom traditional telecom systems to ArcGIS UN. - Perform data validation, QA/QC, and integrity checkson geospatial and attribute data. - Support the modelling of telecom network features like ducts, manholes, splice points, cables, closures, and equipmentusing UN schema. - Develop and maintain geoprocessing scripts or tools(using Python/ArcPy or ModelBuilder) for automating data updates and reporting. - Generate reports using ArcGIS Pro if required. - Preparation of ArcGIS Pro Map Templates with Symbology and configurations - Preparation of GIS WebMaps with configurations.
