**TCS Hiring for Github Actions Engineer (Devops Engineer)** Experience Range: - **08 To 10 Years (Mandatory)** **(Note: Candidates below 8 years of IT experience shall not be considered)** **JOB LOCATION: Bengaluru, Chennai, Pune** **JOB DESCRIPTION** **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, build, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for applications migrating to Azure. - Modernize existing on‑prem build/deployment processes into cloud‑ready automated workflows. - Implement pipeline automation for build, test, security scanning, artifact management, and deployment. - Collaborate with application and platform teams to integrate pipelines with Azure services (AKS, App Services, VMs). - Define branching strategies, workflow standards, and DevOps best practices for the migration program. - Implement secrets management, identity integration, and secure access patterns for GitHub Actions. - Support infrastructure provisioning using IaC (Terraform/Bicep) integrated into CI/CD workflows. - Troubleshoot pipeline failures, environment issues, and deployment blockers across multiple teams. - Ensure observability, logging, and governance controls are embedded into DevOps workflows. - Provide technical guidance, documentation, and enablement to application teams adopting GitHub Actions. **Required Skills:** - DevOps engineering experience, with strong expertise in **GitHub Actions** . - Hands‑on experience designing CI/CD pipelines for cloud‑hosted applications (preferably Azure). - Strong understanding of Azure services: AKS, App Services, Functions, Storage, Networking. - Experience with IaC tools such as **Terraform** or **Bicep** . - Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python) for automation. - Experience integrating security scanning, code quality, and compliance checks into pipelines. - Strong understanding of containerization (Docker) and Kubernetes deployment workflows. - Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and support large‑scale migration programs. - Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills. **Good to Have Skills:** - Experience with GitHub Advanced Security (Dependabot, CodeQL). - Exposure to Azure DevOps pipelines and migration from ADO → GitHub. - Knowledge of service mesh, ingress controllers, and AKS operational patterns. - Familiarity with cloud‑native deployment strategies (blue‑green, canary, GitOps). - Experience with monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana). - Certifications such as AZ‑400, AZ‑104, or GitHub Actions credentials. **Minimum Qualification** 15 years of Full Time Education Interested candidates kindly share your updated resume to **govind.vijayan@tcs.com** immediately with the details below (Mandatory) Name: Contact No. Email id: Skillset: Total exp: Relevant Exp: Fulltime highest qualification (Year of completion with percentage scored): Current organization details (Payroll company): Current CTC: Expected CTC: Notice period: Current location: Preferred Location: Any gaps between your education or career (If yes pls specify the duration): Will you be able to join within 30/45 days?
