In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring consistent execution, high-quality service delivery, and alignment with global finance standards while driving standardization, scalability, and continuous improvement across the controlling organization. You will lead a globally distributed team across capability hubs in Bangalore, San Luis Potosí, Xiamen, and Krakow, with Archetype Leads reporting directly into the role. As a key partner to Business Units, Regions, and CP&O, you will help shape the future operating model through process harmonization, digital transformation, and enhanced business partnering capabilities. **How You'll Make an Impact** - Define, govern, and continuously evolve the global archetype controlling model, driving harmonization, standardization, and alignment with business and finance strategies across regions and business units. - Lead the delivery of controlling services across global Controlling Capability Centers, ensuring consistent execution, service excellence, adherence to standards, and effective demand and capacity management. - Establish and maintain standardized controlling processes, service catalogues, and clear ownership models while optimizing activities to improve efficiency, scalability, and transparency. - Act as the primary interface between Capability Centers, Business Units, Regions, BU CFOs, Hub Controllers, Local Controllers, and other stakeholders, enabling strong business partnering and effective decision support. - Define and monitor KPIs, ensuring transparency in operational performance, resource utilization, service quality, and value creation while driving corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives. - Lead transformation, automation, digitalization, and advanced analytics initiatives, including close collaboration with SAP Center of Excellence teams to enhance process effectiveness and operational excellence. - Drive global controlling projects and cross-functional initiatives that support business objectives, finance transformation, and the development of scalable operating models. - Build and develop high-performing global teams across multiple hubs, fostering collaboration, capability development, knowledge sharing, customer focus, and a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. - Strengthen organizational resilience through effective onboarding, training, succession planning, backup structures, and cross-capability collaboration within CP&O to maximize synergies and service excellence. **Your Background** - Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. - 15+ years of progressive experience in Finance, Factory Controlling, Controlling Operations, or related disciplines. - Proven experience working in global and matrixed organizations. - Demonstrated success in process standardization, transformation, shared services, or global service delivery leadership. - Strong expertise in controlling processes, finance operating models, and governance frameworks. - Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and influencing skills. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities. - Experience with SAP and digital finance technologies. - Proven ability to lead global, cross-functional initiatives and drive organizational change. - Strong intercultural awareness with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and geographies. - Demonstrates effective use of AI and digital tools to enhance problem-solving, decision-making, and productivity, while applying sound judgment, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and maintaining accountability for outcomes. - Fluent written and spoken English. **More About Us** At Hitachi Energy, we are advancing a sustainable energy future for all.
