Job Description As a Global Quality Front-End Central Quality Assurance Remote Operation Control (GQ FECTQA ROC) Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be part of a global organization responsible for centralized quality operations supporting Micron wafer fabrication sites across Asia and the United States. You will play a critical role in safeguarding product quality through automated quality screening, lot disposition, statistical risk assessment, and operational excellence initiatives. In this role, you will leverage advanced statistical analysis, semiconductor process knowledge, automation, and data-driven decision-making to identify quality and reliability risks, recommend appropriate product dispositions, and drive network-wide quality improvements. You will collaborate closely with Site QA, Product Engineering, Reliability, Manufacturing, and Global Quality teams to ensure consistent execution of quality control strategies and defect containment actions across the Micron network. You Will: Design and Develop Quality Screening and Disposition Systems • Develop quality screening strategies, business rules, and disposition plans for deployment in Micron's centralized quality systems. • Configure and maintain automated lot hold, disposition, and containment workflows. • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to establish risk-based quality control methodologies. • Support implementation and validation of quality system enhancements and screening improvements. • Ensure robust controls and interlocks are implemented to minimize quality escapes and operational risks. Execute Wafer Lot Disposition and Quality Risk Assessment • Evaluate wafer lots impacted by planned or unplanned manufacturing deviations. • Assess quality and reliability risks using electrical test data, physical characterization results, process history, and statistical analysis. • Interpret outlier signals, defect signatures, and excursion indicators to determine appropriate disposition actions. • Support disposition activities related to Fab Conversions, Quality Deviations, Special Work Requests, and Manufacturing Excursions. • Document disposition decisions and provide technical justification to stakeholders. Perform Advanced Data Analytics and Statistical Monitoring • Analyze large manufacturing datasets to identify abnormal signatures, trends, and potential quality risks. • Develop statistical models and methodologies for outlier detection, screening optimization, and excursion monitoring. • Perform distribution analysis, SPC review, baseline trending, and risk assessment activities. • Create dashboards, metrics, and reporting solutions to improve operational visibility and decision-making. • Drive data-based continuous improvement opportunities across Micron's manufacturing network. Drive Automation and Digital Transformation Initiatives • Support AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics initiatives for quality monitoring and disposition automation. • Reduce manual intervention by implementing fail-safe controls, automated workflows, and decision-support systems. • Partner with software development teams to define requirements and deploy scalable automation solutions. • Continuously identify opportunities to enhance system capability and throughput. Collaborate Across Global Quality Organizations • Partner with Site QA teams to ensure consistent quality execution across all manufacturing locations. • Participate in global alignment teams focused on quality standards, operational excellence, and best practice sharing. • Support root cause investigations and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) development. • Communicate technical findings, recommendations, and business impacts t
