Job Purpose/summary : The Global Solution SME partners with Platform, xPOs, Tech, and business teams to co-develop and drive scalable business solutions that improve operational effectiveness, support global standardization, and enable successful deployment across regions. The role brings deep operational expertise into solution development, helping translate business requirements, validate operational feasibility, identify execution risks, and continuously improve solutions through frontline insights and structured feedback. The role actively drives strategic initiatives that combine platform capabilities, process transformation, and scalable technology solutions to improve operational effectiveness, accelerate business transformation, and deliver sustainable business value. The role serves as a key bridge between business, Platform, xPOs and Tech, ensuring that global solutions remain practical, scalable, execution-ready, and aligned with evolving business needs. Key responsibilities: • Drive strategic initiatives that combine platform capabilities, process transformation, and scalable technology solutions to improve operational effectiveness and deliver sustainable business value. • Partner with Platform, xPOs, Tech, and business teams to co-develop scalable business solutions and translate business needs into practical, execution-ready operating models. • Lead the development and continuous improvement of global process standards, operating models, and solution frameworks to support consistency and scalability across regions. • Provide deep operational expertise to validate solution feasibility, identify risks and constraints, and ensure solutions are practical and scalable in real-world operations. • Drive the adoption and effective utilization of platform capabilities, AI, automation, and other technology-enabled solutions to enhance operational performance and customer experience. • Lead implementation planning and deployment readiness by identifying dependencies, risks, adoption requirements, and operational constraints to ensure successful solution rollout and business outcomes. • Identify opportunities to simplify processes, reduce operational complexity, and continuously improve business outcomes through structured feedback and data-driven insights. • Influence and align cross-functional stakeholders by providing thought leadership, business expertise, and recommendations that support strategic decision-making and transformation goals. Primary internal stakeholders: • Global Process Lead (GPLs) • xPOs and Platform team/ Tech • Tech • GSC/AREA CI • Ops Heads and Ops managers • GSC Regional SMEs/AREA SMEs • Customers/Shippers • Suppliers Required qualification, experience & skills: Experience • 5+ years of experience in business transformation, process excellence, consulting, operating model design, continuous improvement, or related fields, preferably within supply chain, logistics, customer experience, or other operationally intensive domains. • Proven experience leading or driving cross-functional transformation initiatives involving platform deployment, process redesign, business standardization, automation, or technology-enabled operating model change. • Experience working across global or regional organizations with diverse stakeholder groups, complex operating environments, and matrix-based governance structures. Required Skills & Competencies • Conceptual & Structural Thinking: Ability to abstract overarching patterns from complex operational environments and translate them into structured, scalable business solutions and operating models. • End-to-End Process Mindset: Ability to evaluate solutions from an end-to-end perspective, balancing standardization, automation integrity, scalability, risk controls, and long-term sustainability over short-term fixes. • Advanced Analytical Skills: Ability to leverage data, operational insights, and structured problem solving to identify root causes, assess solution effectiveness, and develop fact-based recommendations. • Transformation Planning & Execution Readiness: Ability to develop design-to-deployment roadmaps, assess dependencies and adoption requirements, manage implementation risks, and ensure organizational readiness for change. • Stakeholder Management & Influencing: Ability to navigate complex matrix organizations, bridge Global Platform and Regional Operations perspectives, and drive alignment across stakeholders without direct authority. Required Business/ Technical Knowledge: • Strong understanding of business process management, operating model design, process standardization, and continuous improvement principles within complex operational environments. • Knowledge of end-to-end process architecture, process mapping methodologies, and scalable service delivery frameworks. • Strong understanding of performance management, productivity measurement, operational controls, and data-driven decision-making principles. • Knowledge of analytical and problem-solving methodologies, including root cause analysis, process diagnostics, and business performance evaluation. • Understanding of business transformation, change management, implementation governance, and organizational adoption principles. • Knowledge of platform-enabled operating models and the interaction between business processes, technology capabilities, governance structures, and execution requirements. • Working
