Our Rail expertise spans asset management, railway operations, customer journey transformation, rail freight, smart mobility, and digital solutions. Transportation and Logistics team within S&C GN Industrial Practice brings extensive expertise in driving operational efficiency and digital transformation across our clients. We specialize in: - Railway logistics and operations optimization - End-to-End Solutioning & Business Architecture for railways covering passenger, freight, and infrastructure - Enterprise systems and asset lifecycle management integration across operations, maintenance, and customer-facing functions - Digital and innovation-led transformation – IoT, predictive maintenance, digital twins, AI/ML, and connected stations - Process reimagination and operational optimization across networks, yards, stations, and customer services - Large program delivery for digital and enterprise transformation in railways and logistics - Digital transformations and new-age technologies (IoT, AI/ML, automation, predictive maintenance) - Supply chain and network optimization for freight and passenger systems - Smart infrastructure and station management solutions **Bring your best skills forward to excel in the role** **Client Delivery & Business Development** - As a manager, you will combine sharp delivery accountability with active business development — owning engagements end-to-end while continuously expanding Accenture Strategy and Consulting Global Network’s footprint in the market. - Lead and manage complex consulting engagements across transportation strategy, operations transformation, and technology enablement — from scoping through value realization. - Translate client business challenges into structured problem statements, hypotheses, and actionable recommendations for C-suite stakeholders. - Actively contribute to business development — crafting proposals, shaping RFP responses, building capability credentials, and supporting client pitches alongside senior leadership. - Identify new opportunities within existing accounts; nurture client relationships through proactive advisory and value-added insight. - Collaborate with global account teams, alliance partners, and industry groups to develop and position joint offerings. - Facilitate client workshops, design thinking sessions, and executive presentations to align requirements and transformation roadmaps. - Oversee analysis, benchmarking, and insight synthesis; drive post-engagement benefit tracking to ensure sustained value. **Thought Leadership** - Author white papers, points of view, and industry perspectives on emerging themes in Railway Logistics and supply chain transformation. - Monitor developments in Agentic AI, autonomous logistics, and sector-specific regulatory changes to shape practice strategy. - Drive development of Solutions / POCs / Demos to the account teams. **People & Team Leadership** - Lead, mentor, and coach analysts and consultants — fostering a high-performance, inclusive team culture. - Manage staffing, workstream allocation, and professional development for team members. **Required Skills** Demonstrated leadership and deep expertise across the following areas: - Expertise in railway operations, enterprise systems, and business process re-engineering. - Strong knowledge of end-to-end enterprise platforms such as SAP with integration across operations, finance, supply chain, and maintenance. - Experience in Business Process Design, Digital Transformation, knowledge of End-to-End Rail Freight & Passenger Value Chain, Operating Model Understanding. - Exposure to technologies, assets and regulation in Railways for North American and European clients. - Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and ability to engage senior client leadership. - Excellent communication, presentation, and value articulation skills. **Other Required Skills** - Strategic Project Management: Abi
