**Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)** - 8-10years of experience in Solution Architecting with Infra Background - 3+ Years of experience in GCP Cloud Infra Solutioning and architecture. - Strong understanding of GCP services, architecture, and best practices. - Know how to design secure solutions that meet compliance standards on GCP. - Should have knowledge on Google Kubernetes Cluster setup and monitoring. - Hands-on experience with management tools such as Cloud Console, Cloud SDK, Cloud Shell - Must have a Hands-on experience in DevOps CI/CD with Terraform tool to build/change all kind of GCP Services. - Well versed with Google Cloud Securities and firewall aspect. - Proficiency in programming languages such as Python Shell. - Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools such as Git, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes. - Familiarity with networking, security, IAM and compliance principles in GCP cloud environments. - Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. **Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role** 1. Infrastructure Management: • Maintain all cloud services such as Compute Engine, Storage, Networking, IAM, and Kubernetes Engine. • Configure and optimize cloud resources for performance, availability, and cost-efficiency. 2. Deployment and Automation: • Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, or Ansible to provision and configure cloud resources securely. • Implement automation scripts and workflows for provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of GCP resources. 3. Security and Compliance: • Implement security best practices and compliance standards for cloud environments. • Configure and manage identity and access management (IAM) policies, network security, encryption, and logging. 4. Monitoring and Troubleshooting: • Set up monitoring and alerting for cloud resources. • Monitor resource usage, performance metrics, and system health, and troubleshoot issues as needed. 5. Containerization and Orchestration: • Manage containerized applications using Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) or other container orchestration platforms on cloud • Deploy, scale, and manage Docker containers and microservices architectures.
