GRADE Engineer **Scope of Role** The GRADE Lead Engineer is responsible for leadership of Electrical, Electronic and Electromechanical (EEE) product requirement validation **Area of Responsibility** This position is responsible for establishing and planning to achieve robust deployment of Electrical, Electronic and Electromechanical (EEE) products. You will have responsibility for: - The GRADE review, deep-dive design audit process. - Responsible for achieving robust deployment of Electrical, Electronic and Electromechanical (EEE) products. - Carry out robust design justification, analysis and verification to demonstrate the product is good by design. - Detect and fix design issues as early as possible, prior to design freeze , when it is relatively easier and less expensive to correct mistakes, utilizing expert auditors as guides. - Ensure issues / mistakes made in the past are not repeated, by adhering to the guidelines, PR-AIMs and things that have gone wrong in the past. - Ensure that supplier is properly sourced (ESOW) and on-boarded to correctly engage with the GRADE process with technical expertise, document sharing project management. **Knowledge / Experience 6 to 9 Years** **Essential:** - Proven project management capability demonstrated by recent delivery in line with time, Cost, quality attribute targets - Proven experience in electrical, electronics, electromechanical commodity development and/or integration of at least one complete program. - Engineering knowledge of defined component(s) / system(s) design, function, performance, production manufacturing requirements, - Excellent communications skills, demonstrated ability to communicate at all levels - Liaise with supplier, Manufacturing, Validation and cross functional teams. - PC Literacy: Microsoft Project, Power Point, Excel, Word etc - CAD Literacy: Ability to operate CAD software like CATIA V5/V6. - Significant experience in use of engineering tools FMEA, Six Sigma, problem resolution etc. - Successful history of delivery within the automotive sector. **Qualification:** BE/B. Tech in Electrical/Electronics/ Automotive Engineering
