This role is critical in ensuring that transformation programs deliver improvements in the efficiency and effectiveness our financial controls and maintain the integrity of BT’s financial reporting. **What You’ll Be Doing – Your Accountabilities** Working together with both operational and transformation teams from across the company you will set, objectives, define accountabilities and drive towards best practice for finance control delivery within major transformation programs. - Actively horizon scanning to identify transformation programs that may impact BT’s financial control framework and IT systems and ensuring appropriate risk / impact assessments are completed - Pro-actively identifying relevant stakeholders and raising their awareness of financial control through training, policies and guidance - Working with transformation teams, unit compliance teams and other key stakeholders to ensure clear accountability for financial control within transformation programs - Providing transformation teams with expert guidance on best practice for financial control design and implementation and ensuring compliance with relevant internal and external policies and regulation - Reporting on the status of financial control delivery within major transformation programs **The Skills You’ll Need To Succeed** - Good knowledge of SOX and ITGC frameworks including design and test of operating effectiveness - Matrix working: Comfortable working in a large organisation where activities are managed according to a matrix structure.
