The company markets its products under its two global brands – Apollo and Vredestein, and its products are available in over 100 countries through a vast network of branded, exclusive and multi-product outlets. **Job Title**: Group Manager - PPC **Location**: Chennai Office **Reports to (Position)**: Head **Department/Function**: PPC **Purpose of the Job**: Responsible for ensuring the adherence of Production plan made to meet the customer demand on time. **Major Responsibilities**: 1. To monitor, coordinate and communicate the daily Production Plan with Plant. 2. Digitalization of Process. 3. Use appropriate inventory management models to reduce material loss. 4. Initiation & Guiding Team in completion of QC story projects. 5. Training on Apollo new tools. 6. Inventory tracking as per norms. 7. Participate in incident reporting, investigations and corrective actions. **Skills & Knowledge Requirements (Abilities / Knowledge & Expertise in field)** **Knowledge (Technical / Functional)** - Knowledge on Production Planning and Scheduling. - Knowledge on Inventory Management. - Knowledge on Pull Production Systems and Optimization techniques. - Knowledge on SAP – PP module and PIBS. - Awareness on OHS & POSH Act. **Skills** - IE Conceptual skills - Analytical Logical Reasoning **Relevant Experience**: 15 – 18 years’ experience in PPC functions in Engineering / Process industry. Preferably in Tyre industry. **Education Qualification(s)**: Graduate in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering
