Educational Requirements Bachelor of Engineering Service Line Application Development and Maintenance Responsibilities 5 - 12 years (with 3- 5 years of experience in Guidewire Configuration / Integration)Exposure and Awareness of Property and Casualty Insurance BusinessWorking and delivering in the Agile/Scum practice is highly desirableGuidewire Certifications highly preferredJava/J2EE resource with Guidewire Experience (Policy Center/Billing Center/Claim Center)Should be able to design and develop Guidewire Integration Components/ Configure PC or BC or CCShould have Guidewire Platform Upgrade Experience (Upgrade and Cloud experience would be preferred)Hands-on experience with GOSU, Web Services and XMLExperience on any database Oracle / SQL Server and well versed in SQLImplementation proficiency and hands-on experience in GW Integration viz. Integration with ESB, Legacy application, and/or Third party Vendor ApplicationsExperience with common integration mechanisms including Service Oriented architecture, web services (SOAP), Messaging (JMS,MQ)Experienced in GOSU, Rules Engine, Data Model and workflowsShould have Unit test(gunits) and Technical Design Documentation experienceGood experience in Incident management, Problem management, Request Handling for Guidewire PC/BC/CC configurations, customizations and third party integrationsHands on exposure to GIT, Jenkins, JIRA, Rally, SVN, JMS messaging queuesMust have estimation, team leading, code review and mentoring skills Additional Responsibilities: Ability to develop value-creating strategies and models that enable clients to innovate, drive growth and increase their business profitability Good knowledge on software configuration management systemsAwareness of latest technologies and Industry trends Logical thinking and problem solving skills along with an ability to collaborateUnderstanding of the financial processes for various types of projects and the various pricing models availableAbility to assess the current processes, identify improvement areas and suggest the technology solutions One or two industry domain knowledge Client Interfacing skillsProject and Team management Technical and Professional Requirements: Primary skills: Domain-> Insurance-> Insurance - Guidewire Preferred Skills: Technology-> Insurance-> Guidewire
