**Job Summary:** Responsible for Creating, reviewing and understand complex test plan/design to validate the quality of new and existing software functionality and support existing application testing capability for all Sprint Stories adhering to Test Service Standards defined by Centre of Excellence and ensure to follow the strategy documented in Epic. **Roles & Responsibilities:** - Ability to create a comprehensive test design and appropriate complex test cases and deliver it on schedule with quality. Applying appropriate technologies and current Test Engineering best practices. - Collaborates with SDETs on team to adhere best practices, analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs and make the right decisions to ensure story delivery. - Develop an in-depth understanding of the business domain and collaborates with Test Leads and business partners to further extend their business context and domain knowledge. - Making it more efficient Automation Operational Excellence, constructively identifying problems and proposing solutions, taking on projects that improve test scripts, making it better and easier maintenance. - Work effectively with Technology Solutions Analysts to understand business impacts and identify any opportunities/problems arising from technical decisions with Engineering Team for each Story. - Responsible for Enhancing In-Sprint Automation and Performance in support of components within your team?s projects. - Solve complex problems, by understanding them and translating them into feasible solutions that can be implemented by the team for each Story. - Actively participate in team design, scoping, prioritization discussions and Agile ceremonies. **Required/Preferred**   **Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**   Requried Guidewire Insurance Testing PC/BC/CC and Legacy systems testing Required  Broad exposure and experience in fully automated QA (TDD, BDD, Performance, Security, Integration/Compatibility, Regression, and Functional Testing), API-Driven Development and systems design, Enterprise-level scale and complexity, "Real-world"/actionable strategic planning, Engineering Best-Practices, Engineering workflow optimization and integration, Designing/Developing in a "Cloud-based environment".  Required  Demonstrates a level of expertise in the application of SDLC and testing methodologies  Required  Demonstrates a level of expertise with main automation design patterns  Required  Demonstrates a level of expertise with test automation tools (Selenium, RestAssured, etc.)  Required  Demonstrates a level of expertise with testing framework (JUnit, TestNG)  Required  Demonstrates a level of expertise working with API Testing tools (SOAP, RESTful, Rest Assured, etc.)  Required  Desire and technical ability to act as an owner, leader, and "force multiplier" within a defined problem area and the scope of the team. "Lead by example" by consistently a majority of the time contributing directly in the design, development, and support of your teams? systems/solutions.  Required  Proven track record of successful test automation delivery, whether by leveraging your team, your partners, or yourself.  Required  Strong collaboration skills with ability to facilitate team working sessions  Required  Deep understanding of and adherence to rigorous engineering and development processes and "Best. Practices", including Extreme Programming practices, Agile Methodology Implementation, Code and Systems Reusability, CI/CD, DevOps, complete, thorough, and effective fully Automated Quality Assurance.
