Guidewire Tester

Job description

We are looking for a **Guidewire** **QA** **Engineer** with 610 years of experience in software testing and strong expertise in testing Guidewire applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in **PolicyCenter,** **ClaimCenter,** **or** **BillingCenter**, a strong understanding of **P&C** **Insurance**, and hold a **Guidewire** **Certification** **(Mandatory)**. Key Responsibilities - Perform Functional, Integration, System, Regression, and UAT testing for Guidewire applications. - Design, develop, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts. - Validate Guidewire configurations, workflows, business rules, and system integrations. - Conduct API testing using Postman, SoapUI, or similar tools. - Perform database validation using SQL queries. - Log, track, and manage defects using JIRA or similar tools. - Work closely with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and Business Stakeholders. - Participate in requirement analysis, estimation, test planning, and defect triage meetings. - Support SIT, UAT, production validation, and release activities. - Ensure adherence to quality standards and testing best practices. Mandatory Skills - **6–10** **years** **of** **QA** **experience.** - **Guidewire** **Certification** **(Associate/Specialist)** **–** **Mandatory.** - Hands-on experience in **Guidewire** **PolicyCenter,** **ClaimCenter,** **or** **BillingCenter** testing. - Strong understanding of **Property** **&** **Casualty** **(P&C)** **Insurance**. - Experience in Functional, Integration, Regression, and End-to-End Testing. - Strong API Testing experience (REST/SOAP). - Hands-on SQL/database validation experience. - Experience working in Agile/Scrum projects. - Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Good to Have - Experience with **Guidewire** **Cloud** **Platform**. - Test automation experience using Selenium/Java. - Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
