Position Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Test Engineer – **Job Description** - Ability to work independently & in a team with a high level of quality - Must be a team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline driven environment. - Excellent understanding in SDLC & STLC. - Should have good experience in test automation Robot Framework and experience with Rest Web Service and Soap Service testing. - Test Automation integration with CI/CD tools - Experience in defining and designing the test cases for automation testing. - Should participate in Release Management and Configuration activities. - Ability to collaborate with peers and to work cross functionally with testing personnel in other software teams in multiple locations. - Should be able to support testing during application development and application support Your future duties and responsibilities Design and develop automation scripts using Robot Framework when needed - Developing automation framework - Developing reusable test assets - Manage and maintain complex set of automated test assets including automated scripts, test framework components, test data and test servers - Provide technical assistance and mentoring to other QA Analysts related to automation skills. - Strong aptitude for learning new technologies. - Client interaction. - To build Test automation competency. - Provide test status report to all the stakeholders. - Manage Automation scripts and execute the test script on each test environment as appropriate. - Facilitate client demo. Required skills: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree with 3 – 6 years of QA technical experience - Should have at least 3 4 years of experience working in Test Automation on Robot Framework - Should have strong testing methodologies and have worked on test management tools like Jira Zephyr - Should have good experience in writing Robot Framework - scripts & reviewing code - Should have a good knowledge of SQL and able to medium to complex SQL queries with inner and outer joins. - Should have good experience in automating tests for Java web-based application, , Middleware like MQ and API testing service (Restful Web services) using Automation tools and preferably SOAP UI - Should be willing to work on manual testing - Good communication and collaborative skills ability to effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders **Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role** Must-Have Skills (Mandatory) - Test Automation - API Testing - Programming & Scripting - Database Testing - CI/CD & DevOps - Testing Fundamentals and Test Management Tools - Agile Methodology Good to Have: - Experience on Insurance Domain (Non-Life insurance preferred) - Certifications on Agile/Test Automation - Experience to customize Test Automation Framework - Experience in integrating Test Automation with CI/CD (Jenkins/Git/Bitbucket/ Bamboo) - Experienced in Agile / Scrum methodology and familiar with tools like Jira - Excellent technical leadership and communication skills with proven ability in collaborating with clients, onsite counterparts, third party vendors & team members - Experience in performance testing tools like Neoload, JMeter etc. **Together, as owners, let’s turn meaningful insights into action.** Life at CGI is rooted in ownership, teamwork, respect and belonging.
