**Greetings from Tata Consultancy Services!!** **Role : Head – Operations(Data Centre)** **Experience : 15 - 30 Years** **Location – Pune, Mumbai, Hyderabad** **Mode of Interview: Virtual** **Job Description** Role Overview Owns steady-state operations, maintenance, and uptime of all commissioned data centres. Ensures that performance, safety, and client SLAs meet or exceed contractual targets. Key Responsibilities - Establish and operate the Central Command & Monitoring Centre (CCMC) for remote oversight. - Develop and enforce SOPs for mechanical, electrical, cooling, and fiber systems. - Maintain uptime >99.999% across all facilities. - Drive predictive and preventive maintenance programs using IoT and AI analytics. - Manage vendor AMCs, performance reviews, and escalation protocols. - Conduct root-cause analysis for outages and implement corrective actions. - Oversee spare parts planning, consumables inventory, and energy efficiency tracking. - Align O&M procedures with global hyperscaler audit and compliance standards. Candidate Profile - Engineering degree with 15+ years in data centre / critical infrastructure O&M. - Familiarity with DCIM systems, automation, and high-availability protocols. - Strong safety and customer-interface orientation. Success Measures - 99.999% uptime; PUE ≤ 1.25. - SLA compliance and zero major downtime incidents. - O&M cost efficiency improvement of ≥10% annually
