**Role & responsibilities** - Collect, analyze, and report on cost data, including product costing, variance analysis and standard costing. - Preparation of annual budgets and interim financial forecasts and monitoring actual expenses against these plans. - Compare actual costs to budgeted costs, investigate discrepancies, and report findings to management. - Prepare internal reports, journal entries, and account reconciliations, especially during month-end closing activities. - Recommend strategies to control costs, optimize resource allocation, and enhance operational efficiency. - Monitor inventory levels, costs, oversee inventory valuation, participate in physical counts, and reconcile inventory records. **Preferred candidate profile** Qualified CA with 5-7 years of manufacturing experience.
