Job description

**Industrial Relations Management** - Maintain harmonious industrial relations between management, employees, and contract workforce. - Handle union interactions, negotiations, and settlement discussions. - Address employee grievances and ensure timely resolution. - Support collective bargaining activities and long-term settlements. **Statutory Compliance** - Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and statutory regulations. - Monitor adherence to the Factories Act, Industrial Relations Code, CLRA, PF, ESI, Minimum Wages Act, and other labor legislations. - Liaise with labor authorities, factory inspectors, and government officials. - Manage statutory audits, inspections, and compliance documentation. **Contract Labor Management** - Oversee deployment and compliance of contract workforce at the yard. - Ensure contractor compliance related to labor licenses, wages, welfare, PF, ESI, and statutory obligations. - Conduct periodic contractor audits and compliance reviews. - Monitor manpower strength and workforce discipline. **Disciplinary & Legal Matters** - Handle disciplinary cases, domestic inquiries, and misconduct investigations. - Draft charge sheets, warning letters, and disciplinary communications. - Coordinate with legal teams for labor court and industrial dispute matters. - Maintain records related to disciplinary and legal cases. **Employee Engagement & Welfare** - Implement employee welfare initiatives and grievance-handling mechanisms. - Conduct awareness sessions on workplace policies and labor law requirements. - Support employee communication programs and workforce engagement activities. - Promote a positive work culture and dispute prevention measures.
