IBM Content Manager Lead

IBM FileNet, IBM Content Navigator, Web services (REST/SOAP), SQL, Linux/Unix Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain solutions using IBM Content Manager aligned to enterprise content management requirements. - Implement content models, document classes, metadata strategies, access controls, and retention concepts to meet business and compliance needs. - Develop and enhance integrations between IBM Content Manager and upstream/downstream applications using appropriate APIs and connectors. - Perform requirement analysis, prepare technical designs, and estimate development effort for ECM initiatives. - Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement fixes with minimal business disruption. - Optimize system performance through tuning, indexing strategies, and efficient query/content retrieval patterns. - Create and maintain technical documentation, deployment guides, and operational runbooks. - Collaborate with QA and business teams to define test scenarios, support UAT, and ensure high-quality releases. - Support release management activities including build packaging, deployment coordination, and post-release validation. Minimum Qualifications: - B.Tech or equivalent bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - 5–9 years of overall experience with strong hands-on development experience in IBM Content Manager. - Solid understanding of ECM concepts including content lifecycle, metadata, security, and governance. - Experience in troubleshooting, debugging, and supporting enterprise applications in production environments. - Strong communication skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience designing end-to-end ECM solutions including content modeling, integration patterns, and operational support processes. - Exposure to IBM Content Manager administration concepts, environment configuration, and performance tuning practices. - Experience working in Agile delivery models with strong ownership of sprint commitments and deliverables. - Proven ability to lead technical discussions, review designs/code, and mentor team members on IBM Content Manager best practices. - Familiarity with enterprise security practices (role-based access, auditing) and documentation standards for regulated environments.
