IBM data power and Integration bus developer

Job description

We are seeking an experienced IBM DataPower Engineer to design, develop, and secure integration solutions for our enterprise banking project. You will build and manage secure, high-performance API gateways and message transformation services that facilitate seamless, high-volume transactions across core banking systems, digital channels, and external financial networks. Key Responsibilities Gateway Development: Design, configure, and maintain services on IBM DataPower Gateways (MPGW, WSP, and API Gateway). Banking Security & Compliance: Implement rigorous banking security protocols including OAuth, JWT, mTLS, WS-Security, and digital certificates. Data & Message Transformation: Develop and maintain complex message transformations using XSLT, GatewayScript, and IBM Transformation Extender (ITX). Integration & Routing: Support backend integration and routing using IBM MQ, REST, and SOAP protocols. CI/CD & Governance: Participate in deployment pipelines (GitOps/Jenkins) to promote code securely across development, testing, and production environments. **Required Qualifications & Technical Skills** Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience as an IBM DataPower Administrator / Developer. Core Skills: Proficiency in XSLT, GatewayScript, XML, JSON, and Web Services (REST/SOAP). Networking & Security: Strong understanding of SSL/TLS, firewalls, load balancing, and cryptography. Collaboration Tools: Experience using ticketing and CI/CD tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, Jenkins and Git.
