Role: **Ignition Architect** Required Technical Skill Set\\*\\* Strong hands-on experience in Ignition SCADA architecture, application review, tag model design, UDT design, HMI/Faceplate standardization, reusable component development, and multi-site Ignition standardization. Experience in defining global standards for tag structure, naming conventions, HMI templates, and reusable assets. Good understanding of Ignition gateway architecture, scalability, performance considerations, integration patterns, and alignment with validation / URS-driven environments Desired Experience Range 8+ years in SCADA / MES / Industrial Automation, with 3+ years in Ignition architecture / solution design / standardization engagements. Location of Requirement: India (Pune, Bangalore, Chennai) **Desired Competencies** **Must-Have\\*\\*** - Proven experience in reviewing existing Ignition implementations and providing architecture and design enhancement recommendations. - Strong capability to define Global Ignition Architecture and standardization framework, including tag structure, naming conventions, UDTs, reusable components, faceplates, and HMI templates. - Experience in multi-site rollout planning, scalability assessment, and pilot implementation support. - Working knowledge of Ignition gateway configuration, performance considerations, and integration with enterprise / plant systems. - Exposure to URS-compliant / validation-driven environments and ability to ensure traceability of deliverables to applicable requirements. - Ability to define and participate in architecture reviews, code / design review checkpoints, standards compliance reviews, version control expectations, and risk / issue escalation governance. **Good-to-Have** - Exposure to manufacturing / shopfloor digitalization environments. - Understanding of IT/OT integration and cybersecurity alignment for SCADA deployments. - Strong stakeholder communication, documentation, and roadmap presentation skills. **Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role** Review the existing Ignition implementation and identify architecture, design, and standardization improvement opportunities. Define and document the Global Ignition Architecture and standardization framework for scalability across sites. Prepare a phased roadmap for standardizing Ignition deployment and support the initial implementation / pilot site as agreed. Establish design review checkpoints, standards compliance practices, and alignment with change management / MOC and release governance expectations. Ensure that all applicable deliverables are aligned with URS requirements and validation expectations.
