**Job Description** Role: **Ignition SME** **Required Technical Skill Set\\*\\*** Strong hands-on experience in Ignition SCADA development / support, including tag creation / modification, HMI screen development / updates, reusable template development, UDTs, faceplates, testing, documentation, and support for standards-based implementation. Experience in working under a lead / architect to perform application reviews, modifications, enhancements, code review support, and documentation aligned to URS / validation expectations. **Desired Experience Range\\*\\*** 4+ years in SCADA / Industrial Application development or support, with 2+ years in Ignition SCADA development / modification activities. **Location of Requirement** India (Pune, Bangalore, Chennai) **Desired Competencies** **Must-Have\\*\\*** - Hands-on experience in Ignition SCADA development and support. - Experience in tag structure changes, HMI screen changes, reusable object / template updates, and minor to moderate configuration enhancements. - Ability to develop / update UDTs, HMI templates, reusable screens, faceplates, and other standard assets under architect / lead guidance. - Experience in testing modifications, supporting deployment readiness, and documenting changes for sign-off. - Ability to work in a standards-driven and review-oriented delivery model, including participation in code / design review and compliance checkpoints. - Familiarity with URS / validation-oriented documentation expectations. **Good-to-Have** - Exposure to shopfloor / manufacturing applications. - Understanding of Ignition integrations, historian / MES / ERP interface contexts, where applicable. - Strong communication, collaboration, and issue-tracking discipline. **Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role** 1. Review Ignition applications and work under the guidance of the Ignition Lead / Architect to perform required analysis and modifications. 2. Support updates to tag structures, HMI screens, templates, and reusable components to align with approved global standards. 3. Develop / update reusable assets such as UDTs, HMI templates, and faceplates and support standards implementation. 4. Test modifications, prepare documentation, and support sign-off and deployment readiness activities. 5. Ensure that development, modification, and documentation activities follow applicable URS standards, formatting requirements, and validation expectations.
