Job description     We are seeking an experienced SAP business objects consultant with strong   hands-on   expertise   in developing managing and troubleshooting enterprise BI solutions . T he ideal candidate   will have deep knowledge of SAP   BOBJ   tools to be capable of delivering optimized reports and dashboards and   demonstrate   strong analytical and   problem-solving   skills . E xperience in SAP analytics cloud will be considered a strong advantage     Responsibilities   - Develop   and   optimize   reports   dashboards and universes using SAP business objects tools such as web intelligence   Lumira   designers IDT / UDT and CMC . - Perform   end-to-end   BI solution delivery from requirement gathering to production deployment and user support - T roubleshoot complex reporting data connectivity and performance issues across   BOBJ   environments . - Manage   scheduling ,   publication ,   and security configurations within   BOBJ   platform . - C ollaborate with   cross-functional   teams to ensure high   quality   timely   and reliable BI deliverables . - M aintain and enhance existing B OBJ   job applications ensuring stability and alignment with evolving business needs P rovide Technical Support for incidence root cause and performance optimization   - (G ood to have )   D evelop and integrate S A C dashboards and stories   leveraging   live and import connections - C ontribute to BI modernization initiatives including migration upgrades and hybrid analytics adoption - Lead end-to-end upgrade activities including environment assessment, upgrade strategy preparation, scheduling, and coordination with BASIS and infrastructure teams. - Perform detailed impact assessments on reports, universes, data connections, and dependent systems to   identify   compatibility issues. - Install and upgrade SAP BusinessObjects BI Platform and associated tools (Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports, etc.) ensuring configuration and environment integrity. - Conduct thorough testing of existing reports, dashboards, and universes,   identifying   and fixing any functional or performance issues post-upgrade. - Develop test cases and manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles, ensuring end-user validation and sign-off. - Document upgrade procedures, test cases, and troubleshooting steps. Conduct training sessions to familiarize users and support teams with new features or changes. - Provide immediate post-upgrade support for issue resolution, system optimization, and ensuring business continuity. Mandatory skill sets:   - 5- 10 years of experience in SAP   BOBJ   suite web intelligence ,   lumina designer ,   IDT / UDT and CMC - S trong troubleshooting skills in report failures ,   query performance ,   and data connectivity issues - E xperience with universe design data modeling connection setup for   BW4H ana and   non SAP   sources knowledge of report scheduling bursting and publication workflows - E xposure to   B Ex   queries ,   HANA   views   or SQL based data sources . - H ands on experience in   BOBJ   server administration promotion management and version upgrades - F amiliarity with cloud migration strategies for BI platforms - F amiliarity with   BI 2025 and its essential features . - Upgradation from BOBJ 4.3 to BI-2025. - (G ood to have )   practical experience in SAP analytics cloud for building analytical stories and dashboards - S trong communication   and stakeholder management skills - Prior experience in Host Path mounting for event-based scheduling - Hands-on experien
