Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Pagination Executive to join our composition team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately formatting, layout styling, and paginating complex books and journals using Adobe InDesign and XML workflows to meet strict production targets and publishing standards. Key Skills • Adobe InDesign (Advanced Layout & Preflight) • TeX / LaTeX Coding • XML Workflow & Data Structuring • MathType & MS Office Suite • Enfocus Pitstop • Understanding of Pagination Rules & Font Management Roles & Responsibilities • Perform end-to-end pagination of STM (Science, Technical, Medical) books, journals, and educational content using Adobe InDesign and TeX coding. • Execute preflight checks, verify XML data integrity, and apply appropriate pagination rules, font settings, and formatting guidelines. • Format complex equations and mathematical content using MathType. • Consistently meet daily quality standards and production targets. • Troubleshoot layout errors, formatting discrepancies, and workflow issues using problem-solving and decision-making skills. • Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate progress or technical bottlenecks clearly. • Maintain flexibility to work in rotational shifts based on project deliverables.
