Job Description Role Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice to join our Personal Trading team. The role provides hands-on experience in monitoring employee trading activities, supporting compliance processes, and ensuring adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements. This is an excellent opportunity to develop a strong foundation in compliance, financial markets, and risk management. We provide you with the knowledge and skills you need to succeed. The Apprenticeship Program is a 12-months opportunity in India. The Program will provide Apprentices with on-the-job-training supporting one of Citi's Business Groups. Opportunities are offered in Banking, Markets, Services, Wealth, Operations, Technology, Internal Audit, HR, Services, Risk and Control) Key Responsibilities • Assist in monitoring employee personal trading activities to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards. • Support trading statements review. • Escalate exceptions or trades not pre-cleared to senior team members. • Assist in preparing reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders. • Conduct basic data analysis to identify trends in personal trading activity. • Support audit, regulatory inquiries, and internal reviews as required. Skills & Qualifications • Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Law, or related field. • Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset. • Basic understanding of financial markets, instruments, and trading concepts. • Proficiency in MS Excel and other Microsoft Office tools. • Strong communication and organizational skills. • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
