Senior Software Engineer Java, Spring Boot, Microservices & AWS About the Role Join Infor Process Intelligence (IPI), a process mining and business intelligence solution within Infor CloudSuite ERP. IPI helps organizations analyze ERP-driven business processes, uncover inefficiencies, and drive operational excellence through data-driven insights. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, AWS, SQL, and REST APIs to design, build, and deliver scalable cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate will be passionate about software engineering best practices, mentoring team members, and driving technical excellence within an agile environment. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture. • Lead and guide a multidisciplinary agile team to deliver high-quality software solutions. • Collaborate with software engineers, QA engineers, architects, product managers, and business analysts to define and implement technical solutions. • Build and enhance RESTful APIs and backend services for cloud-native applications. • Develop and optimize data models, queries, and integrations using SQL databases. • Leverage AWS cloud services to build secure, reliable, and scalable applications. • Ensure high code quality through code reviews, unit testing, and adherence to software engineering best practices. • Drive technical design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions. • Mentor team members and promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and backlog grooming. • Troubleshoot complex production issues and contribute to system reliability and performance improvements. Required Qualifications • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. • 5+ years of software development experience building enterprise-grade applications. • Strong hands-on experience with: • Java (Java 8/11/17+) • Spring Boot • Microservices Architecture • REST API Development • SQL Databases • AWS Cloud Services • Experience developing scalable, distributed, and cloud-native applications. • Strong understanding of object-oriented design principles and software design patterns. • Experience with unit testing frameworks and automated testing practices. • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills. • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
