Job description

**Role : Infrastructure architect (NSX)** **Required Technical Skill Set : VMware NSX-V,NSX-T,AVI Load Balancer,logical switches, routers, and distributed firewalls** **Experience: 10+ years** **Location: Pan India** **Desired** **Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)** **Must-Have** - Design, implement, and maintain network solutions using NSX-T, AVI, and Secure Linux technologies to support hyper-converged infrastructure environments. - Lead the deployment and configuration of NSX-T components, including logical networking, distributed firewall, load balancer, and VPN services, to enable network virtualisation and micro-segmentation. - Deploy and maintain AVI load balancers for modern application delivery, automation, and analytics, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. - Collaborate with infrastructure and operations teams to integrate VMware solutions with existing systems and technologies. - Perform capacity planning and scalability assessments to ensure network infrastructures can support current and future growth requirements. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of network designs, configurations, change records, and operational procedures. - Strong understanding of software-defined networking (SDN) principles and experience with NSX-T configuration and management - Provide technical expertise and support during the testing, troubleshooting, and resolution of issues related to VMware infrastructure. - Ability to work effectively in a collaborative Agile team environment and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. - VMware certifications such as VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or VMware Certified Advanced Professional (VCAP) are highly desirable. **Good-to-Have** - Familiarity with data centre/Datacentre/Datacenter/ Datacentres/ Data centres/DC infrastructure, migration/integration experience is a big plus. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to convey technically complex information in a clear and concise manner. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills with a keen attention to detail. - In-depth knowledge of virtualization concepts, VMware vSphere architecture, and related technologies.
