Job Title: Injection Mold Quality Maturation for Bumper & Instrument Panel Parts Job Location: Manesar / Kharkhoda / Gujarat/ Gurgaon Education Required: Diploma in Plastic Mould Technology or Mechanical Engineering B.Tech in Plastic Technology or Mechanical Engineering Experience Required: Diploma: 5 - 9 Years B.Tech: 4 - 5 Years Job Responsibilities: • Lead post-drawing release mold development for bumpers, IPs, and trim parts from tool build to SOP • Support DFM reviews to front-load risks in part & mold design • Plan and execute mold trials (T0–T3) and establish optimized process parameters • Drive quality improvement by resolving defects (warpage, sink, weld line, etc.) • Ensure vehicle-level validation (fixture, body checker, vehicle fitment – gap/flush, SQR) • Lead ECN proposal & implementation for appearance and dimensional issues • Drive cycle time optimization through process tuning and tool improvement • Coordinate with mold makers for tool progress, corrections, ECN, and SOP readiness • Conduct Peak Production Volume (PPV) trials to validate quality and cycle stability • Lead mold commissioning & production handover ensuring stable manufacturing conditions • Ensure proper machine selection & capacity planning (incl. >1000T machines) • Coordinate with design and cross-functional teams for changes and milestone adherence • Apply strong knowledge of plastic materials and processing behavior • Maintain trial reports, ECN records, and improvement documentation Competencies / Skills: • Proficiency in Unigraphics, Mold Flow software, MS Excel & MS Power Point. • Should have knowledge of plastic injection molding process and Mold manufacturing process. • Good problem-solving skills. • Effective verbal and written communication skills. • Past experience with Automobile OEMs for plastic part development (Bumper & Inst. Panel Molds is preferred).
