Group/Division The KLA Services team headquartered in Milpitas, CA is our service organization that consists of Service Sales and Marketing, Spares Supply Chain management, Field Operations, Engineering, Product Training, and Technical Support. The KLA Services organization partners with our field teams and customers in all business sectors to maintain the high performance and productivity of our products through a flexible portfolio of services. Our comprehensive services include: proactive management of tools to identify and improve performance; expertise in optics, image processing and motion control with worldwide service engineers, 24/7 technical support teams and knowledge management systems; and an extensive parts network to ensure worldwide availability of parts. Job Description/Preferred Qualifications Key Responsibilities XR Storyboarding & Learning Design • Analyze technical documentation, training materials, procedures, and engineering inputs. • Visualize XR training concepts and transform them into clear, engaging, and interactive storyboards. • Create detailed storyboards that guide XR, AR, VR, and 3D content development. • Design learner-centric training experiences that improve knowledge retention and performance. • Ensure instructional content follows established learning methodologies and XR best practices. • Partner with SMEs, Instructors, Engineering teams, and Training Managers to gather requirements and validate content. • Work closely with Mixed Reality Developers (MRDs) to translate storyboards into immersive XR experiences. • Facilitate storyboard reviews, incorporate feedback, and drive approvals and sign-offs. • Coordinate activities across global teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery of projects. • Manage multiple XR projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and delivery timelines. • Proactively identify project risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans. • Track project milestones, reviews, and stakeholder actions. • Support continuous improvement initiatives, process standardization, and innovation within the XR team. • Communicate project status, risks, and expectations effectively across different organizational levels. • Build strong working relationships with cross-functional and multicultural teams. • Demonstrates a positive attitude, willingness to learn new technologies, and openness to challenges. Required Qualifications & Experience • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Engineering, Technical Communication, Education, Learning Technologies, or a related field. • 6–10 years of experience in Instructional Design, Learning Experience Design, Technical Training Development, or XR Content Development. • Proven experience developing storyboards for technical, 3D, AR, VR, or XR learning solutions. • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies. • Experience working with technical documentation, procedures, and engineering content. Minimum Qualifications Key Skills & Competencies • XR, AR, VR, or 3D learning content visualization experience. • Storyboard development and learning content design expertise. • Experience using Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams). Added advantage using tools like Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline 360. • Familiarity with 3D/XR workflows and collaboration with design or development teams. • Understanding of multimedia learning principles. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Self-driven, proactive, and highly organized. • Ability to manage ambiguity and rapidly changing priorities. • Attention to detail and quality-focused mindset. Preferred Qualifications • Experience working in manufacturing, semiconductor, engineering, or technical training environments. • Experience supporting AR/VR/XR training content development. • Knowledge of learning management systems (LMS) and digital learning technologies. </
