J**ob Summary** We are looking for an experienced **Integration Engineer** to drive seamless integration and interoperability for our healthcare systems. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in **HL7 standards**, hands-on experience with **integration engines like Mirth**, and the ability to design, troubleshoot, and document integration workflows. Proficiency in REST APIs, SQL basics, and healthcare information system workflows is essential. Exposure to **FHIR** standards is preferred but not mandatory. **Key Responsibilities Integration Development and Troubleshooting** - Develop, implement, and manage integrations using **Mirth Connect** or other integration engines. - Design, consume, and troubleshoot **REST APIs** to enable system communication. - Configure and support **SSO** for secure and seamless user authentication across systems. - Work with **JSON**, **XML**, and other data formats to facilitate system interoperability. - Collaborate with development teams to create or enhance integration solutions, with preference for candidates experienced in Node.js. **Healthcare Interoperability** - Ensure integration compatibility with **HL7 standards** and HIS workflows. - Maintain and support HL7 message-based integrations for external and internal systems. - Optionally work with **FHIR standards** where applicable for advanced integration needs. **Database and Operational Management** - Use **MSSQL** to handle day-to-day operations and troubleshooting related to integration. - Write and execute simple SQL queries to validate data and debug integration workflows. **Testing and Documentation** - Thoroughly test integration workflows to ensure performance and reliability. - Document workflows, implementation details, and operational guidelines for integrations. **Collaboration and Communication** - Collaborate with internal teams (development, QA, and project management) to meet integration objectives. - Communicate technical challenges and solutions effectively with team members and stakeholders. **Key Requirements** - **Healthcare Standards:** - Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with **HL7 standards** for healthcare system integration. - **FHIR exposure** is preferred but not mandatory. - **Integration Expertise:** - Experience with **Mirth Connect** or similar integration engines, including troubleshooting capabilities. - Proficiency in **REST APIs**, SSO setups, and working with data formats like **JSON** and **XML**. - Experience in Node.js for creating and consuming RESTful APIs is preferred. - **HIS Workflow Knowledge:** - Solid understanding of **HIS application workflows** and interoperability requirements. - **Database Skills:** - Basic proficiency in **MSSQL**, with the ability to write simple SQL queries for troubleshooting and data validation. - **Documentation and Testing:** - Demonstrated experience in documenting and validating integration workflows. - **Technical Aptitude:** - Strong technical grasp and ability to adapt to new tools and features quickly. - **Collaboration Skills:** - Excellent teamwork and communication skills to work effectively across departments. **Preferred Skills** - Knowledge of cloud-based integration tools and CI/CD pipelines. - Experience with real-time data exchange and asynchronous processing. **Why Join Us?** Be part of a fast-paced team revolutionizing healthcare interoperability.
