**Job Description Interface Developer (4-7 years)** Looking for an experienced Interface Developer to design, develop, test, and support integrations between enterprise and shop-floor systems. The role involves building and maintaining interfaces across applications such as MES, ERP, historians, SCADA, quality systems, and reporting platforms, ensuring reliable and secure data exchange for business and manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in system integration, API/interface development, data mapping, troubleshooting, and support, preferably in manufacturing environments. Exposure to GE Proficy Plant Applications or similar MES platforms will be an added advantage. **Key Responsibilities** Design, develop, test, and maintain interfaces between enterprise and plant systems Build integrations using APIs, web services, database queries, file-based interfaces, and middleware tools Analyze source and target system data structures and prepare field mapping / transformation logic Troubleshoot interface failures, data mismatches, performance issues, and job execution errors Support real-time and batch integrations between systems such as MES, ERP, SCADA, historians, and reporting tools Work with application, database, infrastructure, and business teams during development, testing, deployment, and support Monitor interface execution, logs, and transaction flows to ensure reliability and timely issue resolution Prepare technical design documents, interface specifications, and operational support procedures **Mandatory Skills** REST APIs, JSON, XML, CSV, and file-based integrations SQL queries, Data mapping, transformation, and validation logic Error handling, logging, and interface monitoring, Troubleshooting data flow and performance issues Integration patterns such as real-time, batch, and scheduled interfaces **Good to Have (Exposure to Manufacturing / GE Proficy Plant Applications)** Experience in manufacturing / industrial / shop-floor environments Exposure to MES / MOM systems and production data flows Familiarity with integrations between MES, ERP, historians, SCADA, PLC/OT systems, and reporting platforms Experience supporting production-critical applications in 24x7 environments
