Come and join us at Vestas!** **Supply Chain > Global Service Supply Chain > Regional SC Partner AME/LATAM** At Vestas, within the Global Service Supply Chain organization, the Physical Stock Count process for the AME region is a critical function focused on maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring the integrity of stock records across all warehouse and service locations. Accurate inventory visibility is essential to supporting reliable service operations, optimizing working capital, and enabling timely material availability for our customers. The Physical Stock take function in the AME region is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing inventory counting activities while ensuring compliance with global inventory management standards and financial controls. Through close collaboration with warehouses, logistics teams, planners, and other key stakeholders, the team identifies and resolves inventory discrepancies, drives continuous process improvements, and enhances stock accuracy across the supply chain. Operating in a dynamic environment, the function plays a vital role in strengthening inventory reliability, supporting operational excellence, and contributing to Vestas' commitment to world-class service execution and supply chain performance. **Responsibilities** - Schedule, plan, and coordinate annual physical stock counts with regional stakeholders and warehouse teams - Ensure inventory management activities are executed in compliance with company policies, financial controls, and global inventory management standards - Perform critical inventory transactions and stock reconciliation activities within IM and WM systems to maintain accurate inventory records - Investigate, analyze, and resolve inventory discrepancies related to quantity variances, stock locations, and system records - Monitor inventory accuracy metrics and coordinate stock count activities in alignment with Finance requirements and timelines - Review inventory documentation, product codes, and stock records to identify root causes of discrepancies and implement corrective actions - Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance inventory accuracy, optimize operational performance, and reduce supply chain costs - Prepare, generate, and maintain inventory and financial reporting, including monthly reviews and presentations to management - Collaborate closely with regional teams to ensure stock counts are completed on schedule and within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) - Support audit requirements and ensure accurate documentation of inventory count results and reconciliation activities **Qualifications** - 3 to 7 years experience with knowledge in Inventory stock count and cycle count activities - Minimum 1 year of experience working in warehouse - Graduation in Engineering or similar or PG in SCM - Proficient with Microsoft Excel/Power Point - Knowledge in SQL and Excel Macros (optional) - Experience with ERP-(SAP) system **Competencies** - Good communication skills in English both written and oral - Good analytical skill and knowledge on Warehouse and inventory basics - Flexible regarding work hours (Night Shift 6 pm to 3 am IST) to support warehouses in US & Canada Countries - Structured and organized - Outgoing and polite towards our stakeholders - A good team player - Proactive and self-driven - Good knowledge in MS Excel to handle large data **What We Offer** You'll have the opportunity to help strengthen the position of Vestas in a key market for the company with excellent perspectives of growth.
