IoT Field Engineer (Camera-Based Safety Monitoring Systems)

Job description

**Responsibilities:** The roles and responsibilities of the deployed people will be: - Deploy, install, and commission camera-based DSMS hardware at project sites. - Configure and operate IP and fixed cameras for live video streaming and HSSE monitoring. - Monitor system performance and ensure continuous availability of camera feeds. - Provide on-site technical support and resolve camera and system-related issues promptly. - Perform daily monitoring and reporting in line with client safety protocols. - Train client users in camera operations, safety workflows, and DSMS software. - Maintain utilization of trackers and corresponding records for invoicing purposes. - Collect customer feedback and communicate it to the Product team. - Coordinate with internal Product and Engineering teams for issue resolution. - Prepare and submit daily MIS reports. **Requirements:** - Graduation or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related technical field. Additional certifications or technical training in IoT, camera systems, or related areas is a plus. - Proven experience in the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and service of camera hardware, IoT sensors, or related field equipment. - Strong technical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot field equipment, interpret technical manuals, and read drawings or system layouts. - Solid understanding of IP cameras, networking concepts, and video surveillance systems. - Proficiency in MS Office tools for reporting, documentation, and MIS preparation. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients, site teams, and internal stakeholders. - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to maintain accurate records and documentation. - Ability to work independently at project sites, manage multiple tasks, and perform under pressure to meet operational timelines. - Willingness to travel to various project locations as required for field deployments
