**About The Business** Tata Electronics Private Limited (TEPL) is a greenfield venture of the Tata Group with expertise in manufacturing precision components. Tata Electronics (a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons Pvt. Ltd.) is building India’s first AI-enabled state-of-the-art Semiconductor Foundry. This facility will produce chips for applications such as power management IC, display drivers, microcontrollers (MCU) and high-performance computing logic, addressing the growing demand in markets such as automotive, computing and data storage, wireless communications and artificial intelligence. The Tata Group operates in more than 100 countries across six continents, with the mission 'To improve the quality of life of the communities we serve globally, through long term stakeholder value creation based on leadership with Trust.’ **Responsibilities** - Perform in-process quality control inspections at various stages of semiconductor production. - Develop and implement quality control procedures to identify defects and deviations in manufacturing processes. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve quality issues promptly. - Conduct statistical analysis and root cause analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement. - Monitor and evaluate production processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. - Implement and maintain documentation for quality control procedures and inspection results. - Work closely with production teams to provide real-time feedback and support continuous improvement initiatives. - Conduct regular audits to assess adherence to quality control protocols. - Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality control procedures and best practices. - Collaborate with R&D teams to integrate quality control measures into new product development. **Qualifications** - Masters/bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Materials Science, or a related field. - Need hands on experience in quality control tools (SPC, FMEA, MSA, 8D, 7QC tools). - At least 5 years of relevant experience in EMS industry - Strong knowledge of industry standards (ISO 9001/IATF 16949). - Familiarity with statistical analysis tools and techniques (JMP/Minitab). - In-depth knowledge of IC Packaging processes and PCBA. - Quality control certifications (e.g., Six Sigma) are a plus.
