**Job Title:** **IT Engineer – Scheduling** **Department** : Arval IT/Production/Technical Office **About Business line/Function:** **ARVAL Service Lease** Arval is a car renting company with Services, for professional entities and more recently, opened to retail market. Serving 30 countries worldwide with the goal of being the best in class both for customer satisfaction and innovation (Partnership, new technologies, etc.) Arval IT Is The IT Department Of The Company. The IT Production Tribe Is a Key Component Of The Arval IT Department, Focusing On Several Critical Areas To Support The Company's Operations. This Tribe Is Structured Into 4 Domains - Production security domain: Manage the security on Production: Security Monitoring, Advanced Malware Protection, Secure network, Secure Hosting, Security Data Warehouse / Dashboards, DLP Technical, Service Design Validation, Privileged Access Control, Vulnerability Management, Production Security project management, Production Resilience - Application Production domain: This domain operates daily over 200 business applications that make up Arval's information system. The main goal is to ensure the smooth functioning and support of these applications, addressing any issues that arise and implementing improvements as needed. - Infrastructure Domain: Manage, Deploy and support Arval infrastructure hosted in BNPP Datacenter. Define and Enrich Infrastructure service catalog, anticipate infrastructure capacity planning and integrate security and compliance requirements. The infrastructure domain consists of 4 teams: Network, Digital Working, Windows, Storage&Virtualisation - Technical Office Domain: contributes to the preparation and validation of Project Architecture Overview (PAO), drives obsolescence, manage Production Cloud competency center and provide technology expertise (ExaCC, Secure Transport…). **Position Purpose** The engineer will work closely with the team members and business teams to develop features according to a requirement.  Within the framework of the policy defined by the ARVAL IT Production tribe, Level 2 System Engineer will work closely with L2/L3 Production teams. Must ensure that deliverables are aligned with best practices and monitor what has been promoted on higher environments. Production or tests environments supports activities are also part of the position (job monitoring, issues solving, …) Technical expertise, Teamwork, knowledge sharing, adaptability to multiple technologies, proactivity, automation knowledge are key qualities to achieve our mission. **Responsibilities** Direct Responsibilities: Within the ARVAL data processing department, the production engineer Scheduling and flows carries out these missions to the ARVAL countries: **Incident Management** - Preferred contact for internal and external teams within their technical expertise. - Point of contact for any production and non-production incident not managed by the Level 1 team (Steering) during business opening hours (8am to 7pm CSTA rotation) and during stress ranges. - Responsible for maintaining production tools in operational conditions. - Analyzes root causes of incidents and deploys solutions to prevent recurrence. **Asset Management** - Supports and advises developers in production performance within their technical scope by acting upstream and performing performance tests. - Composes and maintains technical documentation within their scope: procedures for Level 1 and production documentation repository. - Proposes technical and organizational improvements to enhance quality for end users. - Technology watch. **Project Management** - Engages in project management within their technical scope, collaborating closely with Architecture and Project Management teams from study phase to production deployment. **Reporting** - Regularly provides monitoring elements of their activity to their hierarchy.
