The IT Production Tribe Is a Key Component Of The Arval IT Department, Focusing On Several Critical Areas To Support The Company's Operations. This Tribe Is Structured Into 4 Domains - Production security domain: Manage the security on Production: Security Monitoring, Advanced Malware Protection, Secure network, Secure Hosting, Security Data Warehouse / Dashboards, DLP Technical, Service Design Validation, Privileged Access Control, Vulnerability Management, Production Security project management, Production Resilience - Application Production domain: This domain operates daily over 200 business applications that make up Arval's information system. The main goal is to ensure the smooth functioning and support of these applications, addressing any issues that arise and implementing improvements as needed. - Infrastructure Domain: Manage, Deploy and support Arval infrastructure hosted in BNPP Datacenter. Define and Enrich Infrastructure service catalog, anticipate infrastructure capacity planning and integrate security and compliance requirements. The infrastructure domain consists of 4 teams: Network, Digital Working, Windows, Storage&Virtualisation - Technical Office Domain: contributes to the preparation and validation of Project Architecture Overview (PAO), drives obsolescence, manage Production Cloud competency center and provide technology expertise (ExaCC, Secure Transport…). **Position Purpose** The engineer will work closely with the team members and business teams to develop features according to a requirement. Within the framework of the policy defined by the ARVAL IT Production tribe, Level 2 System Engineer will work closely with L2/L3 Production teams. Must ensure that deliverables are aligned with best practices and monitor what has been promoted on higher environments. Production or tests environments supports activities are also part of the position (job monitoring, issues solving, …) Technical expertise, Teamwork, knowledge sharing, adaptability to multiple technologies, proactivity, automation knowledge are key qualities to achieve our mission. **Responsibilities** Direct Responsibilities - Management of physical servers (DELL/HP). - Hardware Incident management (with IBM/DELL/HP support). - Maintenance and optimization of Windows systems (MCO) (Physical /VM) - Identification and proposal of technical improvements and solutions to obstacles. - Trellix & Active directory management. Contributing Responsibilities - Vulnerability management. - Patch management and reporting. - Deployment of physical and virtual Windows servers. - Monitoring and management of production and test environments, including task monitoring and issue resolution. - Collaboration with development teams to ensure alignment with best practices. - Participation in incident management and implementation of workarounds. - Contribution to technical documentation and procedure guides. - Participate in the Oncall management rotation (7/7 24/24) **Technical & Behavioral Competencies** - Server Hardware (Dell/HP): In-depth knowledge of physical servers, including installation, configuration, and maintenance. - Windows Server Operating System: Expertise in administering and managing Windows operating systems. - Hyper-v /SCVMM: Proficiency in virtualization with Hyper-v to create and manage virtual machines. - SCCM: Mastery of System Center Configuration Manager for configuration and deployment management (OS deployment and packaging) - Trellix - Management of EPO platform, Platform upgrade, Agent deployment, Policy management - Active Directory Management - Management of active directory, GPO, Tool Proficiency, Security/ Compliance, Infrastructure Health **Technical Skills** **Skills Referential** **(** **Required knowledge, skills and abilities)** Maintain service in place and troubleshooting - Including daily morning check - Strong operating system knowledge (Expert Linux and Windows expertise) - Solid troubleshooting capacities on hybrid applications and multiple technologies.
