**Job Description: Senior JavaScript & jQuery Developer (8+ Years Experience)** **Role Overview** We are seeking an experienced **Senior JavaScript Developer with strong** **expertise** **in jQuery** to design, develop, and maintain high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of front-end development, modern JavaScript frameworks, and the ability to deliver scalable and efficient solutions in a fast-paced environment. **Key Responsibilities** - Design, develop, and maintain dynamic, responsive, and scalable web applications using **JavaScript and jQuery**. - Write clean, efficient, and reusable code adhering to coding standards and best practices. - Develop and optimize **UI components** for maximum performance across browsers and devices. - Collaborate with backend developers, UI/UX designers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions. - Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and usability. - Debug and resolve complex technical issues in existing applications. - Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive design implementation. - Participate in **code reviews**, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers. - Integrate frontend components with RESTful APIs and backend systems. - Stay updated with evolving front-end technologies and recommend improvements. **Required Skills & Qualifications** - Minimum **8+ years of professional experience** in front-end development. - Strong experience in **core JavaScript (ES5/ES6+)** and advanced programming concepts. - In-depth expertise in **jQuery (DOM manipulation, AJAX, event handling)**. - Proficiency in **HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design frameworks**. - Experience with **cross-browser compatibility and performance optimization**. - Strong understanding of **RESTful APIs and JSON integration**. - Familiarity with version control systems like **Git**. - Hands-on experience with debugging tools and browser developer tools. - Knowledge of **web accessibility standards** and best practices. **Preferred Skills** - Experience with modern frameworks/libraries such as **React, Angular, or Vue.js**. - Knowledge of **TypeScript**. - Exposure to **build tools** such as Webpack, Gulp, or Grunt. - Understanding of **CI/CD pipelines**. - Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban). - Basic knowledge of backend technologies (Node.js, Java, etc.) is a plus. **Soft Skills** - Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. - Ability to work independently and in collaborative environments. - Mentorship capability for junior team members. **Education** - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). **Experience Level** - **8+ years** in front-end / web development.
