The role involves using Japanese language skills to support communication between local and Japanese teams, including translating documents, emails, and presentations, work in 24x7 shifts. The individual will assist in interpreting during meetings and calls, ensuring accurate and clear understanding of technical, business, and operational topics. Day-to-day tasks may include reviewing Japanese materials, preparing reports, and coordinating with stakeholders to resolve inquiries and share updates. The role also requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, maintaining professional communication standards, and adhering to Fujitsu’s guidelines and quality expectations. **Qualifications** - Strong Japanese language proficiency (reading, writing, speaking, and listening), with the ability to handle business and technical communication. - Solid English communication skills to coordinate effectively with local and international colleagues. - Experience in translation and interpretation, preferably in a corporate or technology-focused environment. - Good understanding of cultural nuances between Japanese and Indian business contexts, with sensitivity to cross-cultural communication. - Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. - Proficiency with common office productivity tools (e.g., email, word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software). - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in languages, international studies, communications, or a related field; relevant certifications in Japanese language (such as JLPT) are an advantage. - Ability to work on-site in Chennai, collaborate in a team, and uphold Fujitsu’s values of trust, innovation, and sustainability.
