**About You** **Key Responsibilities** - Work with delivery architects to review the best solution to problems - Ensure development quality standards are met - Own and deliver technically sound solutions for the assigned project (s) - Provide regular updates and reporting to project managers - Highlight risks and issues in a prompt and timely manner and give clear and concise details of resolutions - Interact with customers to understand their problems, provide solutions or workarounds - Produce technical documentation to assist team members - Ownership of problems from first notification through to resolution - Ensure performance of Sonata platform is optimised - Impact Analysis for any changes required - Identify problem areas and escalate where necessary **Essential Skills / Experience** Hands-on experience in writing complex SQL queries, query optimization, indexing, and database tuning Strong experience with relational databases (Oracle / PostgreSQL / MySQL) and data modeling concepts Exposure to DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, build and release automation Experience in Java (Core Java, Spring / Spring Boot, RESTful services) Hands-on experience integrating Generative AI / LLMs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Amazon Bedrock, etc.) into full stack applications using APIs Understanding of prompt engineering, embeddings, vector databases, and retrieval augmented generation (RAG) patterns Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) and cloud-native services Experience using source code management tools such as Git, GitHub, Bitbucket, or GitLab Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation preferred) Understanding of microservices architecture, API gateways, and service-to-service communication Experience with logging, monitoring, and observability tools (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.) Familiarity with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra) and big data concepts
